What is the Toowoomba Community Legal Service?

The Toowoomba Community Legal Service (TCLS) provides free legal advice and information through its legal clinic. Some Court representation is carried out in special circumstances. Areas of law on which TCLS solicitors can advise are:

FAMILY LAW - Divorce, Parenting, Property, Child Support and Domestic Violence.

CIVIL LAW - Debt, Traffic, Motor Vehicle accidents, Peace and Good Behaviour, Neighbourhood disputes and dividing fences.

CRIMINAL LAW - Initial advice and referral. Court support in exceptional circumstances only.

TCLS Staff do not advise on matters which are personal injury, medical negligence, compensation, large commercial matters or conveyancing. Staff do not construct wills but may interpret simple wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
