Last week in Canberra TASC Community Development Coordinator and long-term disability advocate Sue Gordon was awarded one of Australia's most prestigious awards, the Minister's Lifelong Achievement Award. TASC spearheading Australia's first Youth Court

Community Development Coordinator Sue Gordon is dead-set keen on instigating Australia's first youth court, a court completely facilitated by youth. "Youth Courts have been used very effectively in the United States with strong evidence to suggest that peer orientated courts can be far more effective in dealing with slight offences or behavioural issues within the school context," Sue said.
