TASC CEO Dan Toombs and TASC Tenant Advocate Samantha Poole say that tenants in Australia are unknowingly being black-listed from future rental for lapses ranging in magnitude from owing money for damage or rent, or disagreeing with the real estate or landlord. Advocacy's BBQ with DSQ for International Disability Day
The Advocacy Sector hosted the BBQ part of the event organised by DSQ yesterday and it was a great success. We were very lucky in getting donations from Pattons Meats of 80 ish sausages and a couple of kgs worth of Steakettes, we also had 2 kgs on Onions kindly donated by Betros Brothers and heaps of drinks from the Food Bank.
