TASC Smarterstate Scholarship sends our people abroad!

Thursday 21st May 2009

The TASC Management Committee has endorsed the annual Smarterstate Scholarship to allow TASC staff the benefit of conducting research in areas of interest to TASC in national and/or international landscapes.

"This is a considerable step by TASC Management to ensure that our TASC Force is always at the cutting edge of service delivery to the most disadvantaged. In a practical sense, this scholarship allows awardees each year to undertake research in Australia or foreign countries," TASC CEO Dan Toombs said.

Under this scheme, TASC's Sue Gordon and Andrew Caple will leave for New York City and Edinburgh in the coming weeks to present at international conferences and to build on strategic alliances with like-minded organisations in New York City.
