TASC and SOUTH QLD LAW SAY NO TO LATE NIGHT GROG

Thursday 18th Jun 2009

TASC and South QLD Law have joined together to spearhead a campaign to quash the applications of a number of hotels seeking to extend their licencincing hours.

"The net impact of these applications should they be successful will be considerable upon the community.  Already our courts are congested with matters relating to excess alcohol consumption, our emergency department at the Toowoomba Hospital is overwhelmed with alcohol related injuries.  This community should not be dictated to by the profits of a few hoteliers, " TASC CEO Dan Toombs said.

Join us to say "NO" at the Public Meeting.  More info at the link to the right.
