TASC to partner with QUT Law

Tuesday 27th Oct 2009

A recent meeting between CEO Dan Toombs, TASC Consultant Retired Supreme Court Judge Ken Mackenzie QC and various heads of QUT, including the Executive Dean of the Law Faculty Michael Lavarch have agreed to form a joint working party to instigate an initiative that in part will address the diminishing provision of legal services in rural Queensland.

"We're very excited about this initiative and look forward to soon meeting with the Commonwealth Attorney General Robert McClelland MP,"  TASC CEO Dan Toombs said.

The initiative will be launched in 2010.
