TASC to provide insight to QLD Government

Tuesday 3rd Nov 2009

TASC has been asked to be involved in a round-table meeting with the Queensland Attorney General Cameron Dick MP and Minister for Disability Services Annastacia Palaszczuk MP to map out potential interventions to minimise the endemic numbers of disabled people within the Queensland criminal justice system.

"We've spearheaded the most successful intervention in reducing recidivism of disabled defendants in Australia.  So, we believe that we have something substantial to put on the table, " TASC CEO Dan Toombs said.
