Youth Court taking Shape

Wednesday 5th May 2010

Australia's first Youth Court will soon become a reality according to TASC Community Development Coordinator Sue Gordon.

"We've had considerable support across government with a commitment from each department to bring this Court to fruition," Sue said.

The Youth Court is an innovative way of addressing wayward school behaviours through harnessing peer groups.  Two schools on the Darling Downs have been identified as potential Youth Court sites.
